Pamphlet. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. p. A very good copy whose front covers are a bit dark around the edges. The covers are in color and are quite vivid. The two main patent medicines of G. G. Green's seem to be AUGUST FLOWER--Green's great dyspeptic panacea and Dr. A. Boschee's GERMAN SYRUP of tar, wild cherry, etc. [a] certain cure for all diseases of the throat & lungs. . G. G. Green seems to have been very successful in the patent medicine business as the last two pages of his almanac are devoted to advertising his mammoth Hotel Green in Pasadena, California, the only absolutely fire-proof hotel on the Pacific coast.
