Matching photo-illustrated dust jacket has closed tear on the upper right corner of the front panel foxing to the extremities, light wriinkling on the rear panel of the jacket.in mylar sleeve. Includes 15 pages of text by Diane Arbus edited from tape recordings of a series of classes Arbus gave in 1971 as well as from interviews and her writings. FIRST EDITION includes the photo of "Two Girls in Identical Raincoats" which was removed from later printings due to legal controversy. Interior is near fine: clean, square and tight throughout. Published in 1972, a year after her suicide, in conjunction with a major exhibition of her work at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
