Full Leather. First Edition. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. iv, 266p. A good copy, the calf covers of which are quite scraped, the author and title label is missing, there is mostly light foxing throughout, and the price and the signatures of two former owners are on the front free endpaper. The title page continues: "and their Clinical Indications. With Twenty-seven Useful Tables and Thirty-nine Wood Cuts." There is a nice article in Kelly and Burrage on John King (1813-1893). They call him a pioneer eclectic and pharmacologist. He was probably living in Cincinnati when this book was issued.
