Paperbound with Stiff Covers. First American Edition. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall. 52p. A very good copy, the covers of which are quite soiled and a little water-stained. The pages are fine. The Westminster Kennel Club was founded in 1877 so that it is likely that this was the first booklet used to judge dogs which was published in the United States. One should be aware though, that the text of this pamphlet was taken from the English book cited in the title. This pamphlet was published here because it was felt that the entire English book was too expensive for some members of the Club.
